No! Press is a small independent publisher based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Its goal is to publish carefully selected books that are not only important for the Slovenian region, but also contribute to a clearer understanding of the world. No! Press is primarily interested in building a community that values good literature and recognizes both effort and quality, while fostering trust. The main agenda of the publishing house is to translate and publish non-fiction and fiction with a focus on underrepresented authors.
Each book cover is unique and faithful to the book. The elements that bind the visual identity together are the logo and a custom-designed typeface, heavily inspired by slab serif and typewriter fonts that were present in the countercultural press of the 1970s. Imagine a blend of Clarendon and American Typewriter, but with a AK-47 in the corner.
